I recently visited this restaurant for their late-night special around 12:30am and I had a fantastic experience! Despite the late hour, the place was bustling with energy and the staff were so warm and welcoming. The ambiance was just right with great music playing in the background. The food was absolutely delicious, and I especially loved the ube melona bar that topped off the meal perfectly. I can't wait to go back for the late-night special again!

Oh my goodness, Umiya is seriously THE place to be! Every time we make the trek across town to visit, it's like a little slice of sushi heaven. Recently, I brought my brother and his friends who were visiting from out of town, and let me tell you, they were blown away. One of the girls had never even tried sushi before, but she dove right in and ended up loving the garlic tuna and all the other delicious options like edamame, bulgogi, gyoza, and shrimp tempura. Some of my personal favorites are the Lisa Lisa Roll, grilled Ikayaki, Tuna Naruto, tuna poke, mango ceviche, and chicken teriyaki. And don't even get me started on the little ice cream churro dessert - it's the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Despite being incredibly busy, the service at Umiya is lightning fast. Our server was a bit on the quiet side, but there were other team members who made sure we were well taken care of. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, with upbeat music playing and cute bistro lights adding a cozy touch to the decor. If you haven't checked out Umiya yet, you are seriously missing out! It's the spot for fresh, flavorful, and always satisfying sushi. Trust me, you'll be hooked from the first bite.
